How to Protect your Hearing at Work

The National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety estimate 30 million people are exposed to hazardous noise levels at work. Without the proper hearing protection exposure could lead to permanent hearing loss.

To fulfill OSHA’s hearing protection portion of their Hearing Conservation Program, employees subjected to certain levels of noise must be provided protective hearing equipment. Employees must also be trained yearly on the proper use of such equipment.

Two new Video On Demand courses teach workers how to prevent hearing loss by using hearing protection. The courses “Hearing Conservation (CLMI)” and “Hearing Conservation for Employees” can be easily incorporated into your Hearing Conservation Program.

These courses are also available as Mastery Advantage courses.
